7th Anniversary Celebration and Staff Recognitions

We celebrated our seventh anniversary this week with over 350 staff attending the two sessions it was one of our biggest events yet.

Young people from the Forum for Independent Young People (FIYA) set the tone for the session as they shared their experiences of the last 12 months, reflected on what the Forum means to them and gave a few impromptu shout outs to familiar faces in the audience.

Next, our Chair Graham Archer highlighted some of our key achievements over the last year including the external recognition we have received; the progress we have made with our regulators and the strength of the partnerships we have developed. He spoke with pride about the ethos and culture of our organisation and thanked leaders, managers and staff for their continued hard work.

This year we celebrated the great work that has taken place across the Trust. The Strategic Leadership Team were asked to share what they were proud of in their respective areas. What came across was how proud we all are of what everyone does every day across the Trust. We continue to improve and there are always ways to be even better; but it’s also important to pause and recognise what we have achieved so far.

A record 450 nominations were received for staff recognitions this year which were shortlisted by the executive management team before our young people picked their winners. This is always a difficult task with the strength of nominations, and this year was even more challenging as we had strong testimonies from children and parents as well as our staff. Thank you to everyone that took the time to recognise their colleagues.
