Annual General Meeting 2025

We held our Annual General Meeting at West Bromwich Albion Football Club on Tuesday afternoon; and it was great to see such a good mix of staff, partners and young people along with Trust Board and the Executive Management Team.
Trust Board Chair Graham Archer welcomed everyone before our young people took to the stage to provide a look back at what they have been involved in, and how their voice has helped to shape the work of the Trust over the last 12 months. Voice Manager Abdul Kahar led them through a Q&A style session based around the 8 principles of the guide to working together they produced a couple of years ago.
Our young people handed over to Graham who spoke about our achievements over the last year in all areas of the Trust, then Tara provided a comprehensive overview of our financial accounts for 2024/25.
Through everyone's dedication and hard work, the Trust accomplished a great deal since September last year. Looking ahead, there remains significant opportunity for continued progress and impact. Following Graham and Tara, I shared some examples of what we will be prioritising over the next 12 months, structured around the five priorities of our Transformation Programme.
Our guest speaker this year was Dez Holmes - Director Research in Practice and Strategic Director, National Children’s Bureau. As always, Dez brought her energy and unique insights to her session, which was focused on 'Resilience in the face of change and complexity'. Throughout the session, delegates were able to take time to reflect and discuss the areas that Dez spoke about.
Thank you to everyone that came along and helped make the day such a success, there was a strong energy in the room. And a special thank you to our young people for an amazing first session.
