Award for Additional Short Breaks Provider

Community Trust Community Interest Charity (4CT), one of the Trust’s providers of the Additional Short breaks Activity Programme, have won the Club Hub Non-Profit Business of the Year 2025.

4CT was founded in 2018 by Jo Haydon to address the challenges faced by families and children in Sandwell. Growing up in the area Jo experienced the hardships of economic deprivation, limited opportunities, and lack of inclusive support first hand.  These experiences inspired her to create a community-focused organisation with a simple yet powerful mission: “You come first”.

Recognising the demand for accessible childcare, inclusive activities for children with SEND and family support services, 4CT set out to meet these needs.  Today they operate 11 wraparound care clubs, provide and run J’s pantry for families facing food insecurity.

Their vision is to create welcoming spaces where families thrive, offering a lifetime of support to over 5000 children each year while transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and resilience. Here in Sandwell, 4CT delivers Summer Holiday Schemes and Saturday Clubs for children with additional needs on behalf of the Trust.
