Trust Board Chair visit to Rowley Regis

On Monday afternoon, Trust Board Chair Graham Archer visited the Rowley Regis Strengthening Families Team based at Blackheath Library.
Graham had the pleasure of meeting the team along with co-located partners including the School Health Nursing Team, Old Hill and Blackheath Primary Schools, Housing, a Supporting Families Employment Advisor and the Young Parents Service.
The session started with reflections on how these teams work together as a partnership, sharing their strengths as well as any challenges that they face. There was a real sense of unity, it was clear how everyone works collaboratively to support our children and families.
Partners shared how crucial their role is in early intervention and how the infrastructure of the wider partnership and Trust supports them in providing this, especially now that we have the shared ST*R practice model.
The Young Parents Service highlighted how they work closely with housing and other specialist services to give our young parents and their children the best possible start in life.
A key theme from the session was the importance of building relationships with our partners.
